Description

BedSoft Blend is a premium mixed equine and poultry bedding made from 80% BedSoft Original (wheat straw) and 20% BedSoft Shavings (softwood), providing a fluffy yet highly absorbent bed suitable for horses, ponies and poultry. The wheat straw component is harvested in Essex and processed using a unique shredding and chopping system to create a light, fluffy texture, while the high‑quality, dust‑extracted softwood shavings add excellent absorbency and stability. The finished product then passes through a state‑of‑the‑art dust‑extraction process before an anti‑bacterial, anti‑viral and insect‑repellent treatment is applied, supporting a cleaner, more hygienic stable or poultry housing environment.

  • 80% highest quality wheat straw (BedSoft Original), harvested and processed in Essex

  • 20% kiln‑dried softwood shavings (BedSoft Shavings), predominantly spruce

  • Mechanically shredded and chopped straw fibres combined with dust‑extracted wood shavings

  • Anti‑bacterial and anti‑viral treatment

  • Insect‑repellent treatment to help deter flies and other insects

Delivery Options
  • Express Delivery (DPD): 2-3 working days

Order Processing
Orders processed before 10am will be shipped the same day. Orders processed after 10am will be shipped the next working day.
Tracking Your Order
When your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to update on the carrier’s website.
You will also receive a notification when your parcel is out for delivery.
If item is not delivered in 5 working days , contact us with your inquiry.
Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
Safe Place or Neighbour Delivery
You can choose to have your parcel left in a safe place or with a neighbour.
Order Cancellations
Changed your mind? You may cancel your order by phone or email before it has been processed and dispatched. Once shipped, cancellations are no longer possible. However, you can return your order following our returns policy below.
Returns & Refunds
  • Return Period: You may return items within 14 days of receipt.
  • Condition: Products must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
  • Refunds: We refund the cost of the product only (not postage), unless the item was incorrect, faulty, or damaged. Refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving the return.
  • Damaged/Incorrect Items: If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us with photographic evidence. We will provide a free returns label. Without evidence, we may not be able to rectify the problem.
  • Customer Responsibility: If returning for reasons other than fault or damage, return postage costs are your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked service.
Disputes & Claims
We always strive to ensure your order arrives safely and on time. However, in the rare case of a non-delivery, the following process applies:
  • Contact Within 7 Working Days: If your parcel hasn’t arrived, please contact us within 7 working days from the last tracking update. This allows us to raise a claim with the courier. Contacting us after this timeframe may limit our ability to pursue the claim if valid proof of delivery exists.
  • Raising a Claim: Once notified within the required timeframe, we will raise a claim directly with the courier on your behalf.
  • Timeline: Courier investigations can take up to 30 days to complete. Once the courier provides a final decision, we will compensate you accordingly.
  • How to Start a Claim: Please email us to request a claim form. The form must be completed and returned within 7 working days, otherwise we will be unable to proceed with the claim
